El Porton Viejo is a magical coastal property located within the private Hacienda El Banquito. The property is located just west of the town of Chirimena, Venezuela which lies 140 kms east of Caracas, Venezuela.
El Porton Viejo has a surface area of 9,600 square meters. ( Nearly two acres) The costal view includes a magnificent sloping elevation starting from a secluded private beach to 50 foot cliffs.
Currently, there is a guest house, storage hut and a two story ocean fronted churrabata. All structures are roofed with authentic Chiqui Chiqui fiber, brought by Indians from the Amazon. The Hacienda El Banquito is a tamed wilderness. The infrastructure includes private surveillance and roads.
